I was so excited to try mountainside as I was in the market for a new gym. I had heard great things about the staff and childcare but I must say when I went on a 5 day pass I was extremely disappointed. The gym itself is awesome but they fell short in the childcare area and staff. Every time I checked on the monitor to see my kids the childcare workers were all standing in a huddle, backs towards the kids, talking to each other. There was very little interaction with any of the kids and it was pretty much a free for all. As I went to pick up my boys one of the workers was screaming at another child to get off the slide. I went in another day and while on the treadmill I turned on the monitor and saw my little guy crying in the middle of the floor and AGAIN no one went to help or check on him and the workers continued to just talk to one another. I went into the childcare area myself to get him and when a worker saw me come in she quickly hurried to my son as if she was trying to help him. I'm sorry but your workers are being paid to just hang out with one another and are not doing their jobs. I was very disappointed and I took my business elsewhere.
