I purchased a few livingsocial vouchers for my trip to montreal and stayed at this hotel. They didn't have the king size room for the first day of my arrival so I opted for the queen size room instead which was fine with me as long as I had a place to sleep in. The staff is very nice and helpful and accomodating. The location of the hotel is about five blocks from 3 different metro stations but beware, they are five LONG blocks. It is close to a lot of stores and restaurants, but none of them are that great. If you intend to take a taxi to this hotel, dont. Save your money and just take the bus which is really quick and cheap and only five blocks away from the hotel.
The hotel looked newer in the pictures but the hallways and the rooms have this only musky smell to it which didn't bother me too much but was a bit disappointing. The bathroom wasn't exactly clean either but I was able to cope with it. When we switched over to the king sized room we were more satisfied as it was very spacious and a lot cleaner though the bedding was still a little dirty.
The breakfast which was included with our hotel booking was pretty standard. There were eggs, sausages, croissants, yogurt, all the standard breakfast items. It wasn't great but it was decent considering it was included and all you can eat.
