Oh Edgewater Spa, you are so wonderful!
I was given a gift card for the Edgewater Spa (or anything Edgewater, I chose to use it at the spa anyway) a while back. After much deliberation over what treatment(s) to use it for, I finally decided on a whole body massage. I love a good massage so I called and made my appointment.
The day of, I arrived about 15 minutes early and was shown to the waiting relaxation area. This area was indeed set up nicely, but honestly I don't think the long couch I was seated on was all that comfy. It wasn't bad by any means, but there is room for improvement. That was a very minor detail, though.
Next, I was greeted by the woman who would be doing my massage and escorted into the room. There was a locker for me to place my things. The lighting was dim and it smelled wonderful.
Once the massage was underway I was in heaven! Pure heaven I tell you. I've had my fair share of massages before, each of them just fine.. But this was not just fine. This was amazing. So amazing that I was literally drooling when she finished. If that's not a state of relaxation I don't know what is!
