Grabbed a room here when my flight was delayed causing me to miss my flight (but my bags mysteriously made it on the flight, go figure). The hotel was slammed busy with a wedding and other busy guest traffic. Despite this, the guy checking me in was very accommodating and made small talk asking me what brought me to the hotel, etc. When I explained my situation to him, he offered an assortment of toiletries and help getting me anything I needed. That was very cool. I did eventually call down for a toothbrush and toothpaste, and when I had been waiting for it for an hour, I walked down to the desk and got it from him myself. He apologized, stating that the security guard that delivers these things likes to do one request at a time, and their list is quite long. I don't blame the hotel, per se, but that guard should be trained differently and the staff should give some ETA as to when to expect it. The room was super clean and comfortable. With just 4 hours to sleep and get back to the hotel, it was a much needed oasis. In the morning, the staff was also very helpful in hailing me a cab, which was appreciated. I will definitely look to stay here again when in Charlotte!
