Simply put, I love this spot. One of my favorites in Madison, which is along the trendy Monroe corridor.
If you want to drink good beer, with plenty of selection, this is the place. Granted it's a Belgium-style pub, so they cater more Belgium brews, but they still carry a wide variety of other international beers. But along with that, their food is great. Smaller menu, with more appetizers and cheese plates, but some dinner options. Get the Frites! Classic, easy to snack on, and their aioli is delicious. Just recently had the Sausage & Spinach Agnolotti, which is like a ravioli, and it was mouth-wateringly good. The buttery-creme sauce was incredible.
The ambiance and decor is very warm and comfortable. A lot of wood and rustic charm. The waitstaff are very professional and polite, know their menu and are very cool to talk to.
