My husband and I recently stayed here as part of a free 2 night/3 day promotional trip won at our local home and garden show. I have to say, after reading several reviews on here and other website reviews about this place, I was skeptical and even second guessing the booking. But it actually turned out to be a pretty good trip overall. Grant it, if I didn't do my research beforehand and learned it was a timeshare promotion, I would've been fuming mad about being misinformed upon arrival. It was never mentioned in the call we received, but we did get our $50 deposit refunded to us upon arrival and a $50 visa gift card after the 3 hour presentation at the Grandview (the sister property). We enjoyed a nice buffet breakfast across the street at South Point during the presentation. It was the first timeshare presentation we'd ever been to, so it was very educational in the whole experience. We weren't forced to buy a timeshare as part of the promotion, but I don't think we'd ever buy one with the pushy sales experience. My thought is if people really want to invest in something, they will come to you - not be setup into buying from you.
Apart from the timeshare experience, the one bedroom suite we had was really nice, even though we were hardly in it the whole trip. It had a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and was very spacious. We also had a nice view of the Strip from our window. Very quiet location and located next door to the Silverton and other great eating options and activities. This is a great family friendly place to stay. Overall we enjoyed it and are grateful for the experience.
