Last night I found an authentic Italian restaurant on the west side! Finally! The food was delicious and the waitress was friendly and attentive. This place is a hidden gem.
I had read some reviews that claimed the sauce was flavorless and/or tart. Ok people, this isn't Prego or Ragu brand sauce. This is how real Italian sauce should taste. If you want a cup of sugar with your pasta, stick with your Buca di Beppo or Olive Garden. The sauce is anything but flavorless... But, if you think the above pseudo-Italian options are how true Italian sauce should taste, I can understand the disconnect.
The short: Come here if you always say to your friends when they suggest Italian, "No restaurant even comes close to my mom's pasta sauce."
