I hired them because of the rating on yelp. Unfortunately I did not check the dates on the reviews! He showed up late for the quote, at which time I told him it was imperative to be on time if we hired him to which he responded "no problem". He was late no the next scheduled appointment and said he had fired an employee. Ok, I understand that. But he carried no tools (ended up using ours) and had no invoice book. On the next appt he said his engine had blown in his car. Hmm, guess I should have told him we couldn't use him with no car. But gave him the benefit of the doubt. The next appointment was at 9 am. Keep in mind we had to be home when he arrived. 5 hours later he showed up. That was it. I told him I would not be using him. He replied, "I'd like to finish the sprinkler system", so I agreed. Next appointment he did not call before arriving and showed up at his leisure...was dropped off by someone!
Omg, lol really? So I gave him 2 hours to finish and he STILL wasn't done! Finally had to ask him to leave my property. We paid to have our sprinkler system fixed and it was not completed. Horrible. I'm not bashing the guy, just letting people know what to expect. If your time is as valuable as ours, I suggest you use that time to find a reputable landscaper...with tools and a vehicle.
