I am writing this review one day after my massage. I always think it's important after a massage to give yourself at least 24 hours to see how you feel before you write a review, unless you have had a really bad experience. But even if you did, always a good idea to try and speak with your service provider. I was so ready for a massage and had never had a restorative one before. I am in my 7th week of base training for IMAZ - November 2018 and knew that it was time get some body work done. The massage was amazing. Kat asked me a few questions about what I needed and told her what I was doing and that once she started with my back and shoulders, she would be well on her way to understanding what I needed. She worked on my shoulders and upper back for a good amount of time and included some cupping too, which I never had. I am swimming 2-3 x per week a new discipline for me, so I am working muscles that I have not used consistently in some time. The knots were plenty and I am all about feeling my massage therapist do their work, Kat made sure of that. It is not everyday that you find a MT that can feel what your body needs without asking too many questions - she has the touch, so glad I found her. I am already booked for my next one, can't wait.
