This is by far the best park in the city. Downtown near a 7-11 for slurpies or drink mix *wink wink* I tell people not from here its the only unofficially licenced park in the city. When drinking in this park dont be a heat bag. Sometimes the cops on bikes patrol (rarely) and if you have an open 24 on a picnic table with tons of empties you will get a ticket for sure. Otherwise if its on the DL they wont bother you. Super bonus is the old asian lady who comes and collects your empties so you can avoid a mess of empties and a heat score of booze for the cops on bikes. I love you old asian lady. I've been going to this park for almost 20 years, the only time anything sketchy ever happened to me was when I was 17 at 2am a man in a diaper with a hospital bracelet who was shaking came up to me and my friend. We decided he was likely from CAMH (the looney hospital half a block away). I believe this was an isolated incident because I have since been there many times in the middle of the night and never encountered any CAMH escapees in diapers. This park = awesome.
