Gnarly, yes. Unforgiving, uh huh. Blown out, YOU BET! This place is usually trashed. Not having much precipitation combined with an old-school trail cutting mentality leads to super loose, sandy trails. Is it worth a visit? Yes. Worth paying for a shuttle, no. For just a few more dollars you can enjoy an actual resort with maintained trails and with lift access instead of a well used u-haul box van.
