A friend and I got a room here to stay over after a concert at Ak-Chin Pavilion. I'm rating it for what it is. Not a resort hotel. Way beyond our expectations. Personable, cheerful, professional staff. Clean rooms. We did a standard with two queens. The beds and bedding were clearly clean and new.
The food in the restaurant was excellent. Yes. Excellent. We had the salmon for dinner and breakfast was equally wonderful. Great service. The pool was very clean. Odd, as it is basically indoors. But well maintained. Not grossly over chlorinated either.
The bartender came out to make sure we had everything we needed.
We Ubered to the concert, taxied back. Super location for a concert stay-cation.
My friend and I are both international travelers and used to nice accommodations. We were both delighted. We will do this again for the next concert.
