I go out of my way to watch movies here.
I live in North York and do not own a car. That's how much I love this theater. It was the first place I experienced the AVX experience and it is the movie theater I grew up with as well.
No it doesn't have an IMAX screen, but the staff and the service make up for this place. Recently on a packed day (I was watching the first showing of the Amazing Spiderman - BTW, go watch it). I noticed my Sprite was lacking the taste of Sugar and Lemony goodness that I usually enjoy and was essentially just soda water.
So I got up and went to the counter. Instead of waiting in line I went to one of the guys in the back shoveling popcorn into bags. Typically I wouldn't cut lines but I had already paid and I didn't want to have to wait in line to switch my drink. So I asked one of the guys shoveling popcorn to swap it out. He didn't even hesitate and even tested the soda before he poured it fully (in a separate cup).
The staff is welcoming and hilarious when I talk to them.
A Great experience. Well worth the money every time I go!
