Need an idea for a fun girls' day out? Stop by Jack Frost then head to the Cleveland Zoo to watch wild animals reenact what you just did with your donuts. (That's actually exactly how I found this place lol). Like others have mentioned, you need to bring cash, be prepared to wait in a VERY long line (which seems to go pretty quickly), and bust out those sunglasses when you reach the glass counters so as not to be blinded by these sugary beauties. I enjoyed the apple fritter, maple bacon, and crullers. The salted caramel was also a memorable choice. You honestly can't go wrong with any of them and be prepared to surprise your digestive system with at least 3 donuts in rapid succession. Unlike other donut places, these delights are light, flavorful, and not sickening. The proportions are always correct, so that you never feel like you're being shortchanged on filling, topping, or dough. They really are special and that becomes clear when you meet people waiting in line that have traveled hours (that's right) to sample some of these treats. Count yourself lucky if you live nearby!
