Unfortunate experience involving take away Thanksgiving meals. My Dad was excited to treat for Thanksgiving dinner in his new home. He ordered four meals and they were not ready when we arrived at the designated pick up time. Twenty five minutes past our scheduled pick up, we got the meals and went home. The meals inside the containers were less than generous with only a small piece of dark meat turkey, a half slice of ham, sweet potatoes - some with pecans, some without, a small scoop of potatoes - some with gravy, some without, and rolls. It sounds like a feast, it was more like a school lunch version of turkey and fixings. I realize that part of the charm is dining in the hall but if they are going to offer this type of service, I would think they would provide a meal they would be proud to serve in their establishment.
