Slickables was good for a late night dessert. I had originally asked someone if they had been to a similar dessert store across from Slickables and she had recommended this place instead of the one I was asking about. She said Slickables was inexpensive compared to the other place.
I didn't realize it was in a popular spot for the college students so it took awhile to find parking. Once in, you get to choose your cookie and ice cream. My order was made pretty quick. My husband sampled an ice cream and got a cone of it. We paid $4 for those two ice creams. So inexpensive! And I was happy that I was able to get something sweet so late.
The only downfall is that the cookies were hard. It would've been better if they were soft and warm. The store was very basic and not upscale at all. There's not a huge amount of space to sit and eat. So we just took ours to go.
