Yummmmmy! I don't know why it took me so long to check this place

When I think of "Custard" my mind automatically thinks of the really Egg-y custard pie which I'm not a fan of, so I never really was the first to say, OMG! Let's get frozen custard. However, I have changed my mind!
Now that I have been introduced to Frozen Custard after visiting Wisconsin where there is a plethora of frozen custard places. I have fallen in LOVE w/ this delicious yummy, thick, creamy, rich desert.
When you walk into Nielsen's you're taken back in time with old school pictures, decor of old school ice cream utensils and such which I love. Before you walk to the counter you're greeted by a sign that explains How To Order: 1. Choose your flavor: Vanilla, chocolate, and the flavor of the day 2. Choose a Style: Cone, Concrete, In a cup w/toppings, Sundae, float and Soda
My Boyfriend and I chose the regular cone. He chose regular vanilla and I chose the flavor of the day which was Rocky Road. The Rocky Road was not too sweet and yet still very flavorful, smooth and creamy with hints of marshmallows and nuts in every bite. I actually wanted more BUT held myself back, lol.
Nielsen's custard taste the closets to the ones I've had in Wisconsin. This is Definitely top spot for custard places here in Vegas and has now replaced Freddy's frozen custard. I will be back to try more!
