The movie "The Guard" had been recommended to us so we went to go see it while down in Calgary a couple of weekends ago. It was showing at Eau Claire so we parked nearby and walked over.
Pros: the coffee shop on the main level is open late (perfect because we had time to kill before the film and we brought YYC friends with us to catch up with) and the popcorn was cheaper than at a big theatre. I should have gotten butter, though. Really should have.
Sound was fine, picture was fine, I wasn't freezing in the theatre, and the seats were meh.
Good for seeing smaller movies and I don't have any major complaints. Sure, some of the lights were out but it just kind of added to the charm.
