I was initially let down that there was too long of a wait for the patio as it was a gorgeous day outside..nothing their white peach sangria couldn't fix! I'm normally a red wine kinda gal, but seeing as this was recommended by both my boyfriend and the server I decided to give it a try. It was good until (almost) the last drop...last few sips tasted like straight soda. On to the food. I have had quite a few beef carpaccios in my day but none come even CLOSE to comparing to the one they have at Brio. It was about half the size of me, unbelievably fresh and drizzled in what tasted like a garlic aioli. Mind. Blown. The Caprese salad was pretty tasty as well but needed a bit more balsamic glaze; I was too emanored by the carpaccio to remember to ask for more hehe. We also had the bruschetta quattro, Pasta Brio and the special bruschetta, which was a spicy shrimp with lobster butter. I, being allergic to shellfish, could not have the special bruschetta, hence why we ordered this way. I deducted a star because the shrimp bruschetta was on the serving plate with the other assorted bruschettas. My allergy is not deathly so I simply avoided the pieces on either side of the shrimp, but as a server they should be a little more careful when a guest states they have an allergy. Hives aren't exactly my idea of a "fun" Friday night. On a side note: The Pasta Brio tastes just as good cold as it does fresh out of the kitchen.
