HORRIBLE.. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY MEMBER HERE. This hospital is terrible. They don't speak English so when you ask for medicine, you get something completely different than you have asked for. I asked for Nausea medicine 4 times, the CNA said, ok I bring you pain medicine ok. I was in tears trying to communicate. They offered me heparin and I refused it at first. Then about 8 hours later I said ok maybe I should take heparin since I am lying down so much. The nurse said you cant have it again until 4am. I said again, they probably billed my ins for something I did not take, so I am suspecting Medicaid fraud. I will request a full copy of everything they bills my ins. Then if I ask for anything, they took 2-4 hours just to come back into the room. I was doubling over in pain at some points and was ignored. I asked they not give me the nausea medicine that I received when I first got to Mountains Edge because I was having a reaction, so it was a scheduled meds every 4 hours. They came back in ever 4 hours and tried to give it to me. NO ONE LISTENS. The food was horrible. I was on all clear diet and I still threw it up. I called my insurance and asked why was I transferred here and they said they do not know. Then they talked to my nurse who was suppose to transfer me to Summerlin hospital and instead, The Dr wanted nothing to do with me so he discharged me with no follow up Dr and no meds. I said let me get this straight, you are releasing me so I cant get transferred to a real hospital per my ins. The nurse keep whispering and they refused to let me speak with the social worker for the hospital. I could not believe the WORST bedside manner ever. BEWARE. I am following up with a malpractice suit against this hospital. I feel I need to be the voice of the patients here. MY son who is an AEMT says he picks up people from there who are almost dead. Then when they get to a real hospital they get a simple treatment such as insulin or whatever and they are fine. Had I known I would have refused this hospital admission.
