Went here for the seasonal end of summer party with the Toronto Zoo.Pickering Playing Fields is a outdoor sports park. It has outdoor volleyball sand courts, mini putt, BATTING CAGES, a driving range and arcade. While everything that night was free I`m sure it`s still a good place to go to have some clean fun. The mini putt course is fairly long with some interesting holes including one made out of a boat and another out of a light house. The arcade is a rip off, just go to the movie theatre, one token is $1.50 or something along those lines. The batting cages were UBER FUN, I`ve actually never been to one, you get to whack the crap out of either softballs or hard balls at a variety of speeds. The fastball wasnt functional when we went (probably because they were worried people might get hurt and they`d be liable) but I`m sure if you go during normal hours it would be up and running. We won free passes for the driving range, mini putt and batting cages so I`ll definately be back.
