I recently purchased an automatic car starter from Visions. When I went in to pay for the installation, the guys working in the car starter/audio department weren't sure if my model of car required a bypass. They told me to purchase the bypass ($100) and pay for the installation of the bypass ($143) anyway, incase it was required, and promised me that this would be refunded should they figure out the bypass wasn't necessary.
When I went in to pick up my car later that evening, they mentioned to me that they didn't need the bypass after all and told me they would be refunding me $100 for the cost of the bypass. As I paid an extra $143 for the bypass installation, I asked why I would not be receiving that money back as well. They told me that they decided to use the $143 to install the lock/unlock/disarm component of the car starter (a feature I did not require and was not told about). I told them I didn't receive a call asking if this was okay and therefore felt that I should be refunded the $143. They told me to call the next day and speak with the car audio manager, Shabi.
It has now been two weeks and I have called Visions seven times and been into the store twice, and I still have not been able to speak with Shabi. The customer service at this place is embarrassing. When you call, you are put on hold for fifteen minutes only to find out Shabi is not in or is out for lunch. It seems like Shabi is avoiding our calls because he knows that his team made a mistake and doesn't want to refund me my $143. I am really disappointed with the professionalism of the employees at this location and will definitely not be referring any of my friends to Visions in the future.
