We used Matthews to pack and ship items from Charlotte to NE Ohio, consisting of a large desk, chair, solid wood armoire & full bedroom set. Upon arrival of the shipment, two large bedpost finials were missing. Each finial is about three feet tall and weighs several pounds -- kind of hard to lose, you know? The coordinator, Michael G, has not returned emails or phone calls. We called the owner, Russell Matthews. Same story: no returned phone calls. It has been more than three weeks since the delivery, so they must be ducking their responsibility. They have our money and we have no ability to gain any sort of satisfactory recovery of our possessions or monetary penalty. Shame on Matthews Moving!
