I called LensCrafters and asked the sales person if they could order the specific frame I liked. I gave them the brand, the model number, and the color. The sales person said yes on the phone, so I drove there to place my order. Guess, what? No, they could not order it for me. I went home and ordered the frame from Amazon. Once the frame arrived, I called again and asked if they could do my specific prescription and type of lens right away. I was told that yes, they could. I drove there and ... you guess it, no they couldn't. It would take a week. I dropped my frames and prescription off and went out of town. Three days later, my glasses were done, but I was still gone. Oh well. I picked up my glasses yesterday and they are fine. Even with my insurance, the lens were several hundred dollars. I should have shopped around more. FYI - they don't do glass lens, they only do plastic.
