Stayed here awhile back during my first visit to Las Vegas. I couldn't wait until 3pm for check in so I decided to pay for the early check in. Only cost me $20. I asked for a nice room and she upgraded me to the Habitat wing. Not knowing what it meant, I assumed it was a step above their standard rooms. I was placed in the Jamaica suite. Upon entering, it definitely was roomy! The decor was not to my liking, had wood furniture and red velvet sofa and chairs. The floor to ceiling windows spanning the length of the living room was nice and made the room seem even bigger. The kitchenette was more modern with granite countertops, sink, microwave, mini-fridge and wet bar area. There was a full bath to the right of the living room.
The master bedroom located off the living room area was nice. It had a window view of the strip along with a sofa and table. The master bathroom was pretty spacious with a dressing area just outside.
I took a walk outside along the natural habitat area that housed the pink flamingos, kois and other birds. A nice experience and great photo ops by the waterfall. If you walk further you can end up in the area leading to the Linq. It has various eateries and shops and leads to the strip.
If you're on a budget this isn't a bad place to stay. Always ask for a free upgrade. Looks like they've done some updating with the rooms. One plus goes to hotel being located centrally on the Strip.
