(About half a mile from the Ethel M candy factory and cactus garden, so a cool "day trip" 20 minutes drive from the strip.) Fantastic liquor store that seems all right for beer and wine (if not quite as over the top as they are for liquor). All the standard high end stuff (Henley's gin, Johnny Walker Red and Black, Blanton's bourbon) is on the shelf and at prices that were below what you could find at Von's grocery. But then go to the locked cabinet to see the really exotic stuff (e.g., check out the 15 or 20 over the top tequilas!). So from really cheap low end through every shade of middle price to way beyond my means, this place was fantastic. Racks and racks of wine, but arranged in a strange and difficult to figure way (even for the staff). You can find lots of good things, but you have to know on your own what you are doing. I don't know much about beer, but probably the same--pretty wide variety, but not a lot of sense in the choices or arrangements (or staff knowledge). Not a lot of staff, total warehouse ambiance, "do it yourself" but truly fun on those terms.
