If I were giving stars out based on the company owner's easy-on-the-eyes factor, there just aren't enough stars (5+++++)! And he's just a really nice guy, so Josh gets top rating, in my book. But since that's neither entirely appropriate nor relevant, let me sort this out and try again...
My first impression when Josh came out to give us a quote for backyard irrigation replacement was that he was honest, knowledgeable, and thorough. He took time to really listen to and understand the issues, what it was that we wanted. At no point did I feel rushed or that I was an inconvenience, like I've experienced with other companies. Josh was super patient with all my dozens of questions and explained things in a way that I could easily follow. No condescension, whatsoever, which was nice.
What immediately set Pro Irrigation Services apart from the get-go was how quickly Josh got back to me. I really had no clue where to go for irrigation repair and so just kind of blindly picked a few in the general area who had decent reviews. Of all the companies I called and left messages for, Josh was the only one to call back same-day. In fact, he just happened to be in the area and was able to fit in a quote that afternoon, which was awesome. He mentioned that customer service is one of his company's highest priorities, and based on our experience, that is 100% truth.
Even though we took quite a bit of time between getting our quote (which was very competetive, based on the other quotes we received) and pulling the trigger, Josh continued to answer even the most inane questions and was super responsive to calls and emails. He totally worked for and earned our business. When it came time to finally get the job done, we went with Josh and his Pro Irrigation Services team, and felt good about it.
The team was out yesterday, as scheduled...bright and early and on time (day after 4th of July, even!). They were sure to check with us as to where we wanted all the drippers and emitters placed. Josh was there to get things started and program the timer, but even after he left, he had a very capable and professional team lead in charge. The crew worked quickly and did a good job of cleaning up when finished. Josh came back towards the end for a "walk through" and to explain the timer set-up, etc. Overall, we were pleased with how everything went. When we settled the payment, there were no surprises.
Shortly after the crew left yesterday, we had a sudden and pretty major issue with the old irrigation line in the front yard that we'd opted not to replace (this had little to do with the work they'd done, there were existing leaks in the old tubing that sprung forth with a vengeance after we had them replace a broken valve and the water was turned back on). We called Josh and he helped us get it under control, then he assured us his team would be back that day to see what could be done to get it fixed. When the crew came back, they pinpointed the problem and gave us some options...they gave solid advice, but didn't pressure us in any way. When we decided it would be worthwhile to just replace the entire front yard, as well, the crew got to work and did the unscheduled work same-day. Super convenient and such a relief to have it all taken care of, once and for all.
We had a very positive experience with Pro Irrigation Services. If it's exceptional customer service and honesty and dependability (not to mention affordability and quality work) that you're looking for, I recommend Josh and his team without hesitation. They're great!!
