I have never had to experience such rudeness and unprofessionalism with the office staff. Their billing practices are confusing at best and this is why I left. I was told that insurance doesn't always cover pellets and therefore I would pay for them up front and then I would get reimbursed for any amount insurance did cover. My EOB from insurance shows that insurance covers the pellets 100% and I only owed for my office visit co-pay. However, I am now being told by their billing department that Estrogen pellets are NEVER covered by ANY insurance so therefore they didn't bill insurance for the estrogen. I have repeatedly asked for proof that it is not covered but haven't seen any proof. I did call insurance and they indicated that the office should at least Bill it and if it's not covered I would see it on my EOB. I am tired of fighting with this office over 125.00 for estrogen that i feel will be covered by insurance. They can keep it and I will submit to insurance myself. What a hastle!
