The CPR and First Aid instructor (Jen) had a great personality and was very knowledgeable. She was also very direct and patient with some of the students whom I found to be either offensive or annoying. What I did not like was the direct mouth to mannequin action. I've heard that in other classes, more protection is offered (some type of sheet separates your mouth from the mannequin. Yes, this is partly me just being a germaphobe, but also the fact that most of the people in the class were coughing and seemed very ill. So, they put their mouths on the mannequins, and then directly afterward, I wipe off the mannequin's mouth with alcohol and place mine smack dab on the same spot. So gross. But other than the gross factor, the class was great!
Update 3 days after class: Guess who's sick? That's right, this girl!
