newer appliances. mostly effective internet connection, i wouldn't download anything, but it will perform basic email and social app functions in a time that won't break your patience (most of the time).
it was a strange time to stay at any hotel in the east, with sandy moving in many businesses were under extra pressure. things were handled well, and calmly. mr. will and the other front desk attendees were charming and kind.
all of the hotel amenities were in good working order. there are working washers and dryers which were well needed by the third week in of travel. vending machines. a small, but well kept exercize room featuring bike, treadmill and elyptical.
it always smelled nice. the bed was cozy and comfy. all the kitchen appliances and cookwear. a flat screen television, which does only offer a small random assortment of channels, but all of which are delivered in premium quality.
the thermostat is an off window unit that keeps the temperatures stable near the bed, which i guess is where you need them the most. the bathroom is kept warm by the excessively heated hallway.
i liked that were two seperate seating spaces. one a desk, presumably for work or electronic. and then a seating area off of the kitchen for eating and even a recliner for catching up on your reading, or in my case, holding your suitcase.
breakfast is a minimal grab and go. but they usually have some fruit on hand and a few delicious flavored creamers. what they lack, they make up for with their attention to details.
overall, candlewood did a good job of providing a pleasant space to stay.
