Disclaimer: I am a hard core boba fanatic from a California. This place is hipster and trendy to say the least. I was very impressed to see how interactive and supportive they were in their community, rewarding straight-A students with gift cards. The worst thing about the establishment is that they only have one register. Very inconvenient especially if one party is indecisive and wants to sample every single topping.. (happened to us) As a result, the line grew to at least twenty people. They should definitely open up another register to increase efficiency and their ability to attend to their customers in a prompt manner. Now as far as authenticity, this place has a very weak tea base for their drinks, that does not however mean they are lacking in flavor in the least. They have a HUGE menu, each drink with exotic flavors. We tried several of their cream based beverages and were not disappointed. Their boba itself is very soft and chewy. Tasted fresh and thoroughly brewed. We did order a plain iced black tea which was very bland. So if you're looking for classic, simple tea beverages I'd look elsewhere. Will definitely be returning if in the area (especially because it's the only boba establishment; not a bad only choice)
