Recently, after experiencing transmission trouble with my 1996 LT1 Corvette, a call to MCR Corvette's turned out to be non-other than a total godsend. Essentially, the 3-4 clutch pack in my 4l60e busted (very common on these cars) while on the highway, rendering the 3rd and 4th gear useless. After calling around to multiple shops, I was continually quoted an astronomical price for a complete transmission overhaul/replacement. Feeling rather hopeless, I stumbled across MCR while doing a web search and decided to give them a call. Willy (the owner I assume), assured me that what I was experiencing was actually an extremely common problem among 4l60e corvettes. Moreover, he mentioned to me that when something of this nature does goes wrong, it may not be wise to jump to a full out replacement as there is typically a single part (3-4 clutch) that fails in an otherwise strong transmission. Willy assured me that he had fixed multiple cars with this problem by simply replacing this faulty part (a significantly less costly option). Following his advice, I dropped off my car at MCR and within three days my transmission was completely restored at a very reasonable price. What sold me on MCR was the level of honesty that I encountered. These gentleman will tell you exactly what is wrong with your corvette and will not try to sell you on any unnecessary service. Being open for over 40 years, the gentleman at MCR, who specialize solely in corvettes, will know every nut and bolt on your car in a way that no other mechanic in this city can compare to. Any corvette owner in Las Vegas would be a fool to overlook their expertise and take their car elsewhere. Lastly, I have to say that my corvette is running stronger than ever after their service, with a very noticeable increase in performance and efficiency. CHOOSE MCR
