The place looks a little thrown together, I was immediately confused by the atmosphere.
I ordered miso soup, eel nigiri, the lazy dragon roll, and the ancient fried rice. My husband and I shared, and thank goodness we did. The portions are HUGE.
Miso was fabulous. It didn't taste like miso paste in hot water. Very, very good.
Eel nigiri was charred and didn't have as much unagi sauce as I'd like. I did not enjoy it. My husband loved it, though.
The ancient fried rice is HUGE and TO. DIE. FOR. I will be back just to have this rice. You must get it, and share if you can!
Lazy dragon roll was decent. There was a weird kick to it that I didn't expect. It threw off the Asian flavor of the roll. Again, my husband loved it.
We'll be back, but not for sushi!
