At first glance everything seems great. Staff held the door open as we checked in, they offered the kids cookies and coloring books and we checked in pretty quickly... And then they led us to another counter to get our "welcome packet" a.k.a. signing up for a 90 minute tour that will hopefully get you to buy a timeshare. I said "no thanks" and told him I was there to relax and spend time with my kids. He said I could leave my kids at the pool during the tour since its for "couples only". Really? Leave my 8 and 10 year old alone by the pool? I politely declined about 6 more times before he finally let me get on with my vacation. I entered my 1 bedroom room and was (at first glance) pleasantly surprised. Not bad for the price I paid. But for the three days I stayed they don't offer housekeeping services. So no clean towels or trash service. By the second day, I was annoyed. I noticed fruit flies everywhere in our room, showers leaked, the garbage disposal in the kitchen smelled horrendous, a toilet clogged and my son woke up with 6 bug bites on his legs (they slept on the pull out couch). We also got another sales pitch in the form of a phone call to our room. Again we said NO. And then another pitch in the form of a letter slipped under our door. And then once more as we checked out. Sheeeesshh! I gave it two stars for the fabulous pool. The only thing we really enjoyed.... But it's not enough to ever make me want to come back. Or buy a timeshare from any diamond resort brand.
