My boyfriend and I wanted to try this place out and we woke up fairly early this past Sunday and decided to give this place a try. We arrived around 9:30 am and got sat right away. It was a bit chilly out and since I already was cold, we asked to sit inside. There was a larger table open but they still gave it to just us. Our server was friendly and on top of things, asking if our meal was okay after it arrived, refilled our coffees without hesitation; however, not being there ever before I was not familiar with how to order. He asked "what carb I would like," and I was caught off guard and he repeated the question and then asked, "what carbohydrate would you like?" I know what carb means but it just caught me off guard since I have never been there before.. The food took a long time to come out and after trying our dishes were were underwhelmed. I ordered 'The Belvedere' under The Merry Yolker Tres Huevo Omelets and my boyfriend ordered 'Booker T's East Side Hasher' under Specialty Plates. I will admit the portions are fairly large and could definitely be shared between two people. My meal was very oily to be an omelet, had way to much garlic bits inside, and the goat cheese was on only a quarter of the omelet - which was the end I couldn't even finish. My boyfriend's meal had way too much cheese on the meal it overpowered the eggs, protein, and sweet potatoes. The biscuits were okay, very hard on the top; so I just ate the inside. I don't believe we will be going back.
