Took my teenage son's bike for repair. Crank came off. He has the bike over a week. No call. When I go to pick up (phone ringing unanswered in background while I hear his answering machine picking up.) He says "Oh i tried to call you but couldn't leave a message." (If I don't answer, it goes right to voicemail for every body else.)
Long story short, he puts the same crank on..and says "yeah, it SHOULD hold, I tightened it down real good." His "repair" lasted for 5 minutes of riding.
I was going to buy myself a nice (expensive) buy in a few weeks...which I mentioned to him while I was at his store. Now? I think not.
Gonna go somewhere else where they've got pride in their work. I'm sure this guys not gonna get rich with this business...but you think he'd want to do a descent job when there's potential for a big sale? Really a shame
