We took our 17 month old son to get his first haircut here on Monday (March 16th, 2015). My son has separation anxiety and clings to my husband or I whenever a stranger approaches or speaks to him. This place was so understanding- they let my son wander around, check out the toys & cool stuff.
The hairdresser was so patient and allowed my son to warm up to her. She played with him & got him laughing which was just awesome. I was totally expecting a cry fest but miraculously my son didn't even shed a tear!!!
The hairdresser worked extremely quickly which is GREAT if you have a child who is squirmy & impatient (or scared and crying). My son kept jerking his head left, then right, up, then down- I can't believe how straight and even his hair turned out!!! Incredible!!! Yeah, it's not perfect. It has a few imperfections but it looks FANTASTIC considering how fast my son was jerking his head around.
This place is really relaxed & kid friendly to the extreme. Don't expect fancy hair cuts. Do expect polite, happy employees who work FAST. This place is better suited for toddlers and/or children who can't sit still for long periods of time.
