Chuparosa Painting painted the exterior of my home in February of 2016. I'm torn between a three star and a four star review but for now I'm going to go with four star. We found a flier on our door and called to get a quote. Hugh came by and quoted us $1800. I thought it was funny that after he quoted that we were like, "oh we have this door flier for $200 off" and he said he couldn't honor that because we didn't say it when we called. Made me think he uses that as a total gimmick to get people in. Oh well, we still used them. The workers were nice. Didn't give us any trouble when we pointed out paint drips etc. I was annoyed that they filled my rocks with paint while rinsing their tools out with our hose but... I'm not a big complainer. Unfortunately, after they left we realized they had sprayed some paint onto our block wall. At least it's inside the backyard instead of facing the street. I feel like every time I go outside I find another drip I missed when we quickly walked the house with the workers. We've had a couple places chip but they left the extra paint so I can touch those up when needed. The area around the bottom of the house is starting to flake now but... It's been a year and a half. I'm not sure if that's to be expected or not. The only thing that SUUUUUPER annoyed me was we had agreed on a certain paint (Dunn Edwards I think but I'd have to go check the cans in my garage to be sure) but when I saw the workers cleaning up I realized they had used Glidden paint for the trim color. I wondered if they would try to hide it but they actually left behind the Glidden can with the extra paint for touch ups. Anyway, I just wanted to give a detailed account of our experience for anyone interested in reading it!
