ASMC is not more than a group of individual Orthopedic surgeons so you can't really put down the whole group as some have done. The front office has always been nice and helpful, perhaps a bit reserved.
My wife and I have had several occasions to be seen by Dr. Freedberg so this review is about him. One of Dr. F's wonderful qualities is that of communication and being human, with no God like behavior. His explanations and vocabulary are very easy to understand and I guarantee you WILL know what is going on. His sports medicine background is impeccable, from his residency at the best Orthopedic program in America, to working and studying with "the jock doc" (as per a Sports Illustrated cover story about Dr. James Andrews of Birmingham AL).
Yes he is very busy doctoring the Cardinals, recently the Coyotes, and the Athletics, but seems to take the time with "the little guy or gal" and give them his all! As with all the specialists, he limits the types of problems and surgeries he attends to. He is an excellent diagnostician, surgeon and all around good guy! If you are unlucky enough to have an orthopedic problem but lucky enough for it to be in his expertise, you will get the fix.
