This is very upsetting to my newly wedded wife and I. On Oct 5th my wife and I got married at Shenandoah Mills which was a beautiful venue. Are mistake was using double tree by Hilton in Gilbert. I highly recommend that people do not use this place. They are very unprofessional and are holding my funds hostage for someone else room. My wife and I are on our honeymoon now and while checking are finances we realized that Double tree hotel has charged my wife 227.38 for the honeymoon suite and have charged me for someone else room at 167.38 with an additional 250 dollar charge for who ever room it was for smoking in the room. The day I checked into my room, my wife had her card on holding to reserve the room. While getting to the hotel, the front desk said that she didn't have my wife's card on file. So I told them to void her card scene I did not have it with me to check into the room and I would pay for the honeymoon suite on my card. Which everything went normally, they gave me my keys to get into the honeymoon suite room, so I can get ready for the best day of my life. Now 3 to 4 days later I have found that they have charged a whopping 644.84 for one night between my wife an I. Knowing this was a mistake I was thinking "Well I'll just call them and it should be taken care of pretty quick". I was sadly mistaking! Double tree is now holding my card and funds hostage for someone else room. While they know that me an my new wife stayed in there honeymoon suite because we where just married. But As I said, we are now on our honeymoon and this is extremely stressful knowing they will not release my funds back into my bank. DoubleTree fraudulently charged my card for someone else room. I have been fighting with them for almost 3 days now while on our honeymoon Adventure. They will not correct the situation. They have made this experience an absolute nightmare. So if you would like your wedding day to go smooth I recommend you do not use this hotel.
