My husband who is a disabled veteran and I bought a 2016 Dodge Journey Crossroad on July 16th 2016. July 18th 2016 mid day I had to run errands, I was driving east bound on I10 got off on Litchfield road making a left had turn (inner lane). My truck died and locked up had very little control with steering wheel. Had someone been in the lane next to me i would of hit them. I called my husband scared because this has never happen and i had my two young daughters with me. My husband who is working, advised me to take the truck in immediately. I called dodge explained my situation Todd the service manager said to bring it in so they can identify the problem. I did what i was told they set me up with a loaner through enterprise. Meanwhile my husband is on the phone constantly with them and having to take two half days to handle the issue. Issue being Dodge wanted to fix the problem and put us back in the truck, the problem was the cam shaft sensor according to Todd. My husband explained to Charlie who is a manger that we did not just spend 38,000 dollars on a brand new truck that has problems a day an half later. After much arguing dodge finally put us in a brand new 2016 Dodge Journey Crossroad. Two days later I have my family with me the same problem happens again coming off of the 303 going south bound onto grand ave. Today being July 23 2016 we go to Dodge speak to charlie ( manager) he tells us that there is nothing else they can do for us that the truck is ours. We can bring it in on Monday and they will have their service department look into once again. Zero compassion towards our concerns and absolutely no accommodations.
