Got here just in time for happy hour and sat in the regular dining section, not the bar section. Loved the dim lighting and decor. Definitely a great, romantic date place. I had the grapefruit basil cocktail and he had a glass of wine. I had the bruschetta and he had the chicken sandwich with fries. The drinks were great and well priced. He loved his sandwich and the fries were delish (truffle) but my bruschetta was super disappointing. Basically slices of toasted bread with a TINY amount of diced tomatoes. We ordered dessert (mini donuts with dipping sauce) and the literally took 25 minutes to arrive. About 10 minutes in, I saw the waiter look at us with that "whoops" look on his face, run to the kitchen, then come back to us to say "Sorry - the kitchen is really swamped tonight". Really? Pretty sure you just forgot to put the order in, buddy, which is totally fine. You ain't gotta lie to kick it. I will be back to try other happy hour food items. Great location as it's in the heart of old town.
