This was a few weeks ago but I wanted to share my experience. I had planned to get food to go but I started chatting to one of the employees and decided to just eat it there at the bar instead. The conversation ultimately centered around the Route 91 festival which I was working at, as I was wearing my #vegasstrong shirt it was all that was on my mind. I was telling the man named Chris my story, my heartbreak, and my luck to even be alive. My food began to arrive. I had ordered enough for two people as I was starving and had barely eaten that day. My weight had dropped over 10 pounds since the previous week of the festival. After I was finished and stuffed I asked for the check. Jay, one of the employees informed me that it was taken care of. I asked what he meant and he told me that the owner had taken care of everything. I did not know the man I was speaking to was the owner and I had not noticed him leave. I broke down crying with tears of happiness and sadness. I began to tell the others also what had happened as they didn't really know. The staff in there were so caring refusing even a tip, and even offering me dessert and a ride home. Such kind, kind people.
