After driving past this restaurant many times in the last year we decided to give it a shot. When we first walked in we were a bit curious as to why there was only one other couple in here on a Friday night at 530. We sat down a took a look at the menu. I decided on the Bayou bucket and my wife chose the catfish basket with mac and cheese.
The fried catfish came out and while it wasn't horrible it did come with the skin on. The bayou bucket came out in a basket. Blue crab, shrimp, crawfish, potatoes and corn with a side of andouille sausage. Every bit of it was over cooked, the crawfish were undersized and not purged. We had our waitress ask about the crawfish and the chef said they were out of season. For 29.95 a bucket you make sure your food is in season and cooked right. What an utter disappointment. We won't be returning.
