Ulta has a vast selection of all things cosmetics and hair care, as well as a salon (which I've never used). There are usually employees walking the floor and available to assist when you can't find a product, but they aren't pushy. The store is bright and clean.
Though they're priced a bit higher than other places that do discount their products, it's made up for by the regular $3.50 off coupons that appear in the Sunday supplements.
Today, the day after Black Friday, the long check-out line I anticipated didn't really materialize, so I found what I needed and got out pretty quickly. I like Ulta, and I like not knowing their political agenda, unlike their major competition, who I refuse to patronize. If Ulta's is the same, at least they're not shouting it from the rooftops. Ignorance is bliss.
