I stumbled upon Cloakroom by accident - I was walking by one evening when they were having a holiday party and decided to check it out, because who can resist the words "sale" and awesomely dressed mannequins, right? I wasn't disappointed, and have been a frequent shopper here ever since. The shop owners have a great eye for interesting and stylish pieces that work for the office, parties, or casual events. What i love about Cloakroom is its incredible mix of basic staples and hard-to-find lines that you won't find in your average Toronto boutique such as Good Hyouman, Minkpink, Maurie and Eve, etc. They also have wicked accessories and bling!! Personal favourite purchases so far include a La Mer leather wrap watch, and some beautiful necklaces by Shlomit Ofir. I've also found that the sales associates never feed you that usual "ohhh that looks AMMMAZZING on you" when your butt clearly looks larger than life in it. I've always had a positive, honest, and really enjoyable experience with their staff which is really important to me. Whether you're looking for a funky sweater, eye-catching dress, or cotton solid basics, I would definitely recommend checking out Cloakroom.
