This restaurant is sort of like if you took TGI Fridays and Michael Mina in San Francisco then threw them in a blender together. Some of this has to do with the patrons that go there and a lot has to do with the quality control & training for the staff. You can tell that the menu was influenced by someone who is clearly talented but the delivery was way off. Some of the food was served at a room temperature or cold; service was very Denny's-esque and the atmosphere - LOTS of hooting and hollering and HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR from the diners. I went there expecting an elegant dining experience but left frazzled and less relaxed than when I arrived. Maybe I should have been doing shots.... I do need to acknowledge how wonderful the dessert from the tasting menu was however. Little warm chocolate chip cookies, mini rootbeer float, an amazing mini coconut pannecotta and a mini warm chocolate lava cake. Yum-E!
