Great selection, I really enjoy their Vintages section but their customer service could really be improved.
I mean is it really so hard to be nice or helpful? I find McDonalds & TTC staff members nicer and I spend so little with them vs the LCBO. Considering how much I spend the customer service is much to be desired and probably the worst if You consider the prices I pay for wine.
I was holding multiple bottles and I asked the person in the Scotch section for a $120 bottle of Scotch. I couldn't grab it cuz my hands were full so I ask oh where's the baskets. The service rep looks at me points to the other side of the store and that's it. I couldn't grab the bottle so I walked all the way across, and walked back to get the bottle I wanted.
Could he have gone to grab it for me? Yes. Could he have offered to take the bottle to the front to save me some time. Yes.
Most times the staff are great but overall couldn't care less that I'm there. This isn't just this store though. I help out more people who look lost since I know and love wine than most of the "service" reps.
