I absolutely loved visiting Hexx over the weekend!
I was in search of the Sugar Factory and learned it was renovated and replaced by Hexx. What a pleasant surprise as the employees inside were much more chill and less fancy and stuck up than before.
When we asked if we could sample a gummy bear, we were turned down or got our hands slapped. Instead, the friendly employee simply said that as long as we use the designated spoon, we can feel free to have a sample of the gummy bear. Score!
We walked around towards the end to find their bar. Again, we were expecting to get kicked out for not buying and basically just loitering waiting for our party to exit the restrooms, but instead we were offered free samples! What the heck is going on I thought. The employee that offered us the free sample also brought over her supervisor who was this sweet young lady. She was helpful and answered all the stupid questions my brother asked from what they do in the kitchen to how they make their chocolate bars. So instead of being kicked out, we gained education in fine chocolate making! What!
Completely loved my first visit so I decided to stop by on my last night to buy the bars of chocolate we tasted but didn't get there early enough and found the doors already locked. I can't wait to stop by again the next time I'm in town. Thank you Hexx and keep up the great work! Will recommend to all my friends for sure! Superior hospitality! Love!
