For one of our youth groups, I wanted to take them to something that would bring the new group together, get their brains churning, and revolve around team building exercises. Lost Games is a great choice for your next church group function, corporate team building activity, or just weekend fun activity with friends and family.
In jest, I like to describe escape rooms like the movie franchise SAW minus anything remotely dangerous. The general premise is a small group is locked in a room where they must solve puzzles, riddles, and other brain teasers to locate clues for their escape. It's a great time for those of us who love immersive, smart experiences. I promise no spoilers but the background of this escape room is an insane asylum in which it seems one of the patients has locked you in, while you must search for the antidote for a mysterious pill (tic tac) you have eaten.
Owned by a young trio, this is a local business to support. I spent sometime speaking to them as one of the other groups attempted to escape. They are currently working on part 2 of the story and hope to reach to make it a series of 4.
Tips: keep your group under 8 and RSVP. Walk-ins from my understanding or accepted but it's always best to check to make sure they have the time slot open. Lastly, have fun.
